A housekeeper
Our housekeepers have a minumum of 5 years' professional housekeeping experience, within a family home.
Typical working hours can be anything between 5 and 50 hours per week.
Usual duties can include general cleaning, deep cleaning, laundry and fabric care, ironing and cooking.
If you are looking for a live in housekeeper, they can also look after your property whilst you are away working or on vacation, giving you that extra peace of mind.
Nanny/Housekeeper
Some families prefer to combine a housekeeper with a nanny, especially when children are in part time daycare or school.
The nanny/housekeeper will take care of the children and also look after the house. Very much the same duties as a normal housekeeper, but will also take care of your children too.
We do ask that the housekeeper is not expected to take care of the children at the same time as caring for very young children and infants.
Our nanny/housekeepers will undergo all of the vetting procesures as any other nanny.
A nanny/housekeeper can also be employed on a live in or live out basis.
How much do housekeepers and nanny/housekeepers expect to earn?
We advise that our clients pay a good, market rate, to ensure that they get the very best service from their staff.
Rates for Housekeepers, or Nanny/Housekeepers with the London area are approximately £40,000 to £60,000 gross per annum.
A daily, or live out Housekeeper, or Housekeeper/Nanny will expect to earn between £20 and £25 per hour gross.
